This is a new team to the ELF and they’ve made a few huge signings this offseason which will help catapult them into the mix for the playoffs.

QB- Their biggest and most important signing comes in the form of Zach Edwards. He was a second team all-star for the Barcelona Dragons last year and led the league in passing yards and touchdowns, and you can’t forget he also ran for over 500 yards. He’s a dual threat who automatically makes any team a contender.

RB – Meril Zero will most likely be the guy here. He played very well in the German league last year and will look to make a smooth transition to the ELF.

WR – This is where Zach Edwards will make his money. Kyle “Sweet Tooth” Sweet (I made that up right now) is called that because he gobbles up every sweet treat of a ball thrown his way by Edwards. Sweet lead the league in catches (115), yards (1,561), and touchdowns (17) last year for the Dragons. This WR-QB duo will most likely dominate again this year in a different country.

O-Line – I would say Jallier and Iguedjtal will be their stars up front after winning a title in the French league. The team did sign Fabian Kratz who was a commit to Oregon State before giving up football and moving to Germany. Kratz was a 2021 ELF all-star for the Centurions, so look out for him to take command of this offensive line and move them forward. Celestine Ngimbi also has experience in the ELF playing for the Dragons last year.

D-Line – They signed Mamadou Sy who was a champion in 2021 for the Galaxy, but was mostly a backup last year. The Musketeers got Stanley Zeregbe from the Thunder who recorded 6.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss, he should be the gasoline that drives this front.

Linebackers- Dauson Dales is the name people need to be on the lookout for. This collegiate standout from Ohio Dominican led the Italian league in tackles last year and will try to bring his energy into the ELF. Also, his name is pure linebacker energy. Seems like a guy I’d want to crack open a few Coors Lights with or, since in France, I suppose a Kronenbourg.

Defensive Backs – Felix Proulx, out of the Italian league, looks to be a big signing after winning a championship in Italy. Their X-factor in the defensive backfield will be Cam Hilton. Cam was a starter at the University of Missouri at free safety. Playing in the SEC will help Cam move into the ELF. I look for him to intimidate opposing receivers who come into his territory. Expect big hits and helmets flying.

Ya know, I kind of like this Musketeers team. Love their QB, love that he has his top WR back. Line may be a problem on offense and defense, but they have the playmakers to make up for it. I think they will contend for the playoffs if they stay healthy.
