The rumor is the Fehervar Enthroners are signing Jerod Evans, the former QB at Virginia Tech. Evans went undrafted and played on the Packers and Eagles practice Squads. In his one year of Division-I ball, Evans played phenomenally. He had over 3,500 yards through the air, 29 pass touchdowns with only 8 interceptions. He also rushed for over 800 yards and had 12 rush touchdowns. If Virginia Tech was a little better that year, he probably would’ve been in Heisman talks. He did lead them to a ten-win season and they were the ACC Coastal Champions, setting a Virginia Tech record for a comeback win in their bowl game. A phenomenal year for Evans. He probably should’ve stayed one more year, because he went undrafted and has been bouncing around different leagues since. If this rumor is true, the Enthroners have to shoot up my rankings and become an immediate threat to every team out there.
