A team many are high on, but I am not so much. They lost too much talent for me: Hanni, Toonga, Ceesay. Hard to replace all of that, but they did an ok job at it. I think they’ll be a great defensive unit with the additions of Wright Jr., Lachmann, and Deion Harris
@ Panthers Wroclaw – the Panthers lost some key players from last year including Malik Stanley and Goran Zec, two very accomplished players. The Sea Devils lost a lot of players as well, but I think they replaced better than the Panthers (Inluding getting Stanley) and they take this one in Wroclaw. Malik Stanley gets his revenge 32-14 W.
Rhein Fire – The Fire are explosive and very, very good. I don’t think the Sea Nation will beat the fire nation in this battle, just too much skill in Rhein. 17-24 L.
@ Centurions- this is a matchup in the Western Conference that will pretty much be a cake walk for all these teams. The Centurions have some talent here and there, but they’re just not very good. 21 – 7 W.
Berlin Thunder – This will be an all-time defensive matchup. Kyle Kitchens will be leading the way for the Thunder and it will be tough for the SeaDevils to keep up. I prefer Donavan Isom over Preston Haire, and the Thunder receiving corps is deeper than the Sea Devils. 10 – 17 L.
@Paris Musketeers – I fear for anyone playing the new Musketeers. They have the best QB-WR duo in the league and they are gunning for each team. The Sea Devils have a target on their back and I think the musketeers take them down, resulting in a bad start for Hamburg. 21- 31 L.
Panthers – Following my above statement, Wroclaw won’t be able to keep up with this Sea Devils team, look for the Devils to pour it on at home. 42- 24 W.
@ Frankfurt Galaxy – The Galaxy bring back Sullivan and have Reece Horn, the only competition for best wr-qb duo for Edwards and Sweet plays for the Galaxy. Not to mention, their defensive backfield is absolutely filthy. I think the Sea Devils have a tough time moving the ball. 10 – 35 L.
Cologne Centurions – Kinda getting tired of ragging on this team, but the Centurions are in the toughest division in the league, making it essentially impossible to make the playoffs. 42 – 17 W
@ Rhein Fire – This Fire team is going to be rolling, if the Sea Devils want to make the playoffs they’ll have to a huge upset in Rhein. I don’t see it happening. 21 – 28 L.
Paris Musketeers – At home, in desperation, I think the Sea Devils overcome the odds and get a huge win against Paris here. They’ll be hungry to win this one and I think they’ll pull it out. 28-21 W
Galaxy – The Galaxy will be coming off some easy wins and it might make them a bit soft. I expect a huge upset win for this team. 28 – 24 W.
@ Thunder – I think they avenge their early season loss here. A game that could go either way, I like the Sea Devils to end their season on a high note with a win in Berlin. 24 – 20 W.
7-5 record for the Sea Devils. A far cry from their 11-1 mark from last year, but the competition has gotten better and their roster has become weaker. The season will go back and forth with not many streaks either way just win followed by loss and vice versa. If they do make the playoffs it will be because their defense or Preston Haire steps up and becomes the face of the league, that’s the only scenario I really see. Sorry Hamburg, but I’ll buy a few cheeseburgers while I’m out there.
