The Dragons had a good year last year and made it all the way to the semifinals. They lose their two best players from last year, but have some talent coming in that should really help them going forward. They benefit from being in one of the easier divisions, well any division that’s not the Western looks easy. Look for Austin Duke to play very well for this team.

Week 1- Helvetic Guards – The Guards are a good team, but I think the crowd will be ready to rock in week 1 and push the Dragons over top in this one. Look for Austin Duke to explode onto the scene with the Dragons. 31-20 W

Week 2 – @ Milano Seaman – Constant may give this secondary some problems. This is one of the best wide receiver matchups of the year. This is kind of hard to decide, I could see the Seaman win at home, but I have to go with the Dragons due the experience of Conor Miller. Zahradka is a guy who’s been playing in Europe for a while and I’ll think he be good, but I’m not sure how good in this new league. Dragons win their first two – 21 – 17 W

Week 3 – @ Raiders Tirol – If you asked me a week ago, I would’ve probably taken the Dragons, but times have changed. The Raiders recently signed Sandro Platzgummer who had a three-year stint with the Giants. He is a difference maker and will be in this one. 7 – 21 L

Week 4 – Munich Ravens – The Ravens are new and I don’t love their team. They’re best player is Amin Black at LB and everywhere else they’re ok. I’m not expecting a whole lot from Chad Jeffries and I think the Dragons might pull this one off. 24-21 W

Week 6 – @ Helvetic Guards – They come and go from the bye at 3-1, which is better than most would think. The rematch with the Guards welcomes them from their rest week. Norm Chow will have his squad ready and I think Silas Nacita pushes the Guards out ahead and no one catches him. He’ll be making Norm have flashbacks of Reggie Bush. 10 – 30 L

Week 7 Raiders Tirol – Another matchup against this Raiders team, this time at home. I don’t want to say this is where the Dragons downfall might happen (because I want them to be great, I think I’m choosing them for my fandom), but it might be where the downfall starts. The Seton Hill connection of McClam and Strong, may just be too strong for this Dragons team. 17 – 34 L.

Week 8 – @ Stuttgart Surge – The Surge are loaded up this year. Goran Zec and the Jelvani brothers are going to really rough up this dragons team. I’m looking for a tough day in Stuttgart on this day. 7 – 35 L

Week 9 – Paris Musketeers – Edwards and Sweet make their return to Barcelona. This smells bad for the Dragons. They’ll be hungry to show out in their old territory, I see another Dragons loss. 24 – 40 L

Week 11 – Milano Seaman – finally a bye week, and much needed after that rough stretch. They get the Seaman after a week of rest and I see them getting back on that horse and punching them in the mouth. Ales “Posito” Gonzales makes a difference here. 24 – 17 W.

Week 12 – Stuttgart Surge – Another tough matchup with this Surge team. They’re good all over the field and outmatch the Dragons in a lot of areas, but for some reason, at home, I think this Dragons team pulls out the upset. 31 – 24 W

Week 13 – @ Paris Musketeers – Listen, I want to say the Dragons win this one, I really do, but the Musketeers are too skilled. Dauson Dales and Cam Hilton make a big difference on the defensive side of the ball and give the Musketeers a win at home.

14 – 17 L

Week 14 @ Munich Ravens – If my predictions are right, the Dragons will be sitting at 5-6 at this point in the season. This would have to be a must win for them. Fuck it, give them the win here. I think the defensive backfield of the Ravens breaks down by this point in the season. 34 – 20 W.

This puts the Dragons at 6-6, and without a ton of help, it will probably mean they don’t make the playoffs. Now I may have some bias on this one, but they do have a somewhat easy schedule and could potentially win 1 or 2 more or lose a lot more than I picked. They’ll be a fun team to watch either way.
