All the celebrities have been putting on and showing off their outlandish and expensive costumes for this Halloween, but no one’s costume was so psychologically insane as Diddy’s was.

This year Diddy decided to dress as Batman – OK, sure that’s a completely normal costume, I’ve seen a bunch of people go as Batman. Well, what makes this particular rendition so crazy is that he made his son dress as Alfred. Yes, Alfred the butler from Batman.

No, son, I get to put on the awesome costume, you get to put on your suit and be uncomfortable the whole night while you trick or treat. Why would you want to be the super cool hero when you can be the butler, instead?

Now, listen, I love Alfred. Michael Caine is amazing in the Dark Knight, but he’s not exactly a costume any kid should want to wear. And on another point, what Dad wants to be in a better costume then their son? You want to outshine him on the day where kids get to show who they really are and want to be? It’s just straight up crazy for Diddy to do this and be so public about it, posting pictures and videos all over Instagram.

Diddy has always seemed like a narcissist, and I guess you have to be to some point to reach his level of stardom and fame, but don’t do it to your kids too. Let the kid be Batman, you get to be the Butler, that’s infinitely cooler and makes Halloween what it should be: a Holiday for kids.
